We’ve been operating since 1974, initially as a parent & toddler group then gradually evolving over time into a comprehensive child care setting. We have always been based in the same building in the grounds of St James First School but in the last 5 years we have extended and refurbished the building, adding toilets and an extensive soft play surface in the garden. We are independent of the school although as you’d expect we work closely with the Reception class teacher where many of the children ultimately go after Cottage.
